HSML 4150D - Group Processes in Human Servics3 3 hours. This course is designed to explore the concepts of group dynamics, group culture, the change process and stages of development. Students will be given the opportunity to practice leadership skills needed to facilitate effective group work in various settings. Students will also learn about the application of group processes and techniques to chemical dependency treatment, issues relevant to at-risk youth, as well as families in crisis. Prerequisite(s) : Students should complete 3000-level courses before enrolling in 4000-level courses. HSML majors must complete HSML 3600D and HSML 3700D .
