ACCT 5110 - Fundamentals of Accounting Research3-3 3 hours (3;0;0). Application of accounting theory to recognize accounting problems, isolate relevant issues, and conduct accounting research using appropriate databases and resources. Topics include critical thinking, accounting research, use of databases, effective communications, and the role of research in fraud investigations. Prerequisite(s): ACCT 3120, ACCT 3380, and Admission to Accounting MBA Concentration (or consent of department). Course Typically Offered: Spring.
