Pre-Professional Development
These competencies and courses have been identified as useful in helping students prepare to pursue a career in the law profession. Speak with advisors about whether some of these courses can be incorporated into your degree plan as electives or major/minor degree requirements.
Quantitative Skills
Quantitative skills are needed for analytical and problem-solving.
Theoretical Skills
Theoretical content related to the understanding of government and political science techniques and design is helpful.
Professional Preparation
These courses further develop student understanding of the law profession, interaction with society, and the development of research skills needed in the law profession.
Career in Law-discusses topics such as getting into law school, being successful in law school and careers in law. (this number will change when the course becomes permanent)
