A bachelor degree in business administration with a major in hospitality management combines skills from human resource management, operations management, finance and accounting as well as sales and marketing to provide a strong business base as well as hospitality specific knowledge.

Requirements for the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in hospitality management includes the following:
- Hours Required and General/College Requirements: A minimum of 120 semester hours, of which 42 must be advanced, and fulfillment of degree requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree.
- Business Core Requirements: Completion of a minimum of 42 hours designated as business core requirements.
- Major Requirements: The hospitality management major requires 36 hours of accounting and business courses
- Requirements: All students entering the hospitality management program must have an overall cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.0, a UNT Dallas Grade Point Average of at least 2.0, and be in good academic standing.
