General Business, BBA
A bachelor degree in general business provides the skills that can transfer into a wide variety of career in business. Skill sets include application of knowledge to solve business problems, decision-making, quantitative analysis, communication and strategic management.

Requirements for the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in general business includes the following:
- Hours Required and General/College Requirements: A minimum of 120 semester hours, of which 42 must be advanced, and fulfillment of degree requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree.
- Business Core Requirements: Completion of a minimum of 42 hours designated as business core requirements.
- Major Requirements: The general business major requires 36 hours of accounting and business courses
- Requirements: All students entering the general business program must have an overall cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.0, a UNT Dallas Grade Point Average of at least 2.0, and be in good academic standing.
