COMM 3050D - Communication in a Multicultural World

3 hours. The course explores the ways culture affects and is affected by communication. Topics to be addressed range from globalization and cultural diversity at work, to international peace and conflict resolution, to the role of popular media in representing cultures and shaping identities.
