5630. 3 hours (3;0;0). School change and improvement from the perspectives of classical/rational organizational theory, open systems theory, contingency theory and social systems theories. Content includes research on school change and school improvement, strategic planning, effects of major reform initiatives in the 1980s and 1990s, and the development of the literature review in a research study.
