SOCI 3340 - Women and Sport

3340. 3 hours (3;0;0). A social-psychological and historical study of women and sports, and the challenges faced by women athletes through the years. Sports covered in this course include but are not limited to Olympic Sports, Collegiate and Professional Sports: Baseball, Basketball, Equestrian, Figure Skating, Golf, Gymnastics, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, and Track and Field. Prerequisite(s): SOCI 2050. Course Typically Offered: Fall.
