3340. 3 hours (3;0;0). This class will explore the economic, political, and social contributions of African Americans from 1619 to the present day. Major focusses include important events, people, and trends as well as the antebellum slavery experience, the Reconstruction era, and Jim Crow marginalization. Prerequisite(s): History Core.
