EDBE 3470 - Foundations of Bilingual and English as Second Language Education

Examination of philosophies and theoretical underpinnings of bilingual and ESL education, including a review of historical antecedents of bilingual education and evolution of federal and state language policies governing the education of language-minority children. Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted to the Teacher Education Program. Successful completion of EDBE 3480.
