CJUS 4380 - Advanced Criminalistics II

3 hours (3;0;0). This course will provide an advanced examination of specified sub-disciplines of criminalistics, including analysis of latent prints, trace evidence, and controlled substances. This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the scientific method of analysis, the theory of individualization, and the application of critical thinking as applied to these sub-disciplines. Prerequisite(s): CJUS 2100 and CJUS 2302 (formerly CJUS 3300) or equivalents or consent of the instructor. Course Typically Offered: Spring (Odd Years).
