Introduction to microscopic analysis with emphasis on the fundamentals necessary for identification and characterization of trace evidence materials such as glass, hair, fibers, explosives, soil, paint and biological samples. Prerequiste(s): Successful completion of a minimum of 60 semester hours; 8 hours organic chemistry; CJUS 3330; BIOL 3331; BIOL 3451/3452; or consent of department.
