SPAN 3160 - Latin American Culture and Civilization3.0-3.0 3160. 3 hours. Study of the politics, social structures and traditions of Latin America from the indigenous period until today, with a special focus on their contemporary life in order to build a foundation for a more in-depth study of Latin American culture. Taught entirely in Spanish. Prerequisite(s): 3 hours of advanced (3000 or 4000 level) Spanish or consent of the department.
