LAW 7101 - Principles of Accounting and Finance for Lawyers

7101. 1 hour. Focuses on the core accounting and finance principles that lawyers encounter across many areas of practice. Core goals are being able to read, interpret, and use basic financial statements, and understanding and applying basic principles of valuation. Prerequisite(s): For both full-time and part-time students, completion of all courses taken in their first year. Required. Students may place out of this class by demonstrating proficiency through other coursework at the graduate or undergraduate level or through other methods established by the College of Law.
