Comparative and critical reading skills from a global perspective, tracing significant literary themes, text, movements, and genres across a wide range of world literatures and cultures from Antiquity to the 1700. Prerequisite(s): Three semester hours of freshman-level English or equivalent credit. Satisfies the Language, Philosophy, and Culture requirement of the University Core Curriculum.
