Bachelor of Science

The mission of the Division of Education and Human Services (EDHS) is to prepare teachers, principals, counselors, and human service professionals for employment and leadership in their respective disciplines in linguistically and culturally diverse communities in the North Texas region and beyond.  Our faculty aspires to ensure that our graduates are highly qualified, actively recruited, and successfully employed in the North Texas region and beyond.

EDHS has two departments: Teacher Education and Administration; and Counseling and Human Services.  The undergraduate degrees offered through EDHS are the BS in Human Services Management and Leadership and the BS in INterdisciplinary Studies (Teacher Education) with state certification options.  All teacher education certification programs are accredited by the Texas Education Agency.  *For information about teaching Mathematics with Secondary Teacher Certification, BA  , please refer to the Division of Liberal Arts and Life Sciences.
